The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster coincidentally released around the same time as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Monster Island is about an island, known as Monster Island, where a monster can be found, whom itself is kind of the island, the Monster Island, if you will.

As an asylum movie, it has roughly the same (Monster Island Asylum) budget as a big kid's dinner and only uses it sparingly. This includes focusing on just a few human characters and keeping its major actors in one set so that all their scenes can been filmed during lunch. We must not forget that this movie is a kaiju film and, well... that's kind of how they work. So maybe The Asylum won’t be so terrible with it?
